Taylor Swift made a surprise trip down to Nashville to join boyfriend and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce in hosting a meeting of the football minds on Monday night.
Kelce was initially seen in the Music City for ‘TEU’ or ‘Tight End University’ – an NFL event he founded in 2021 with San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle and former Carolina Panthers star Greg Olsen.
Later that night, a launch party for took place at the cocktail bar L.A. Jackson in the city. Kelce, Olsen, and Kittle posed for photos on the red carpet before a picture emerged showing Swift at the bar with Kelce next to her.
Her appearance marks a considerable show of support from the Eras Tour star on a night where the great and the good of the NFL gather together. Kelce has put a lot of work into staging the event in years gone by and his fellow co-hosts Kittle and Olsen had spent the day at the event with their families.
It wasn’t immediately clear how long Swift had been in Nashville but Kelce and his friends were holding a welcome reception at the glitzy bar to kickstart the three-day event.
The event was initially established to bring tight ends together for a sense of community, but has since become an elite-level training event that also raises money for charity.

TEU comes after a weekend spent in NYC with Taylor Swift and on a golf trip with his friends
Multiple current and former NFL stars are set to participate in the training event, with 75 athletes confirmed to attend the fifth year of the ‘conference’. According to PFN (Pro Football Network), players will be able to take part in film study, on-field activities, and off-field recovery tactics.
The appearance comes after Kelce treated himself and his boys to a golf trip out in the Hamptons over the weekend.
Kelce and girlfriend Swift were spotted in New York City on Friday night grabbing dinner at Italian restaurant Torrisi, after the Chiefs tight end took a private jet to the Big Apple earlier in the day.
And a day later, Kelce ventured to East Hampton Golf Club with his good friend Ross Travis – flying out in a helicopter before they hit the links.
Kelce, who wore a white polo shirt, white baseball cap and khaki shorts, was photographed holding a canned beverage as he walked alongside his former Kansas City teammate Travis.
The ultra-exclusive club, which opened in 2000, reportedly has an initiation fee of $400,000 for members, who are also said to need a net worth of at least $1million or earn more than $200,000 per year.
According to the club’s website, it’s been recognized as a top 50 golf club in the country with a ‘platinum club designation.’
The 6,400-yard course also bans carts outside of members who are ‘unable to walk the course’ due to physical impairments. The club has just 250 memberships, its website says.

Nonetheless, Kelce – who will top $111million in career earnings this season – was welcomed to the course for a day during the Chiefs offseason.
Kelce and his friends could be seen returning to the helicopter later in the day, as the three-time Super Bowl winner held his golf shoes in one hand as he stepped aboard.
Kelce, 35, is steadily ramping up his preparations for the upcoming NFL season after spending the offseason getting into better shape.
He nearly retired after the Chiefs were blown away in February’s Super Bowl by the Philadelphia Eagles but looked a refreshed man at mandatory minicamp in Kansas City last week.
The Chiefs start the season in Brazil on September 5 against Los Angeles Chargers.
