Ronald Darby, who won Super Bowl LII with the Philadelphia Eagles, is reportedly set to hang up his cleats.
The veteran inked a one-year deal with the Houston Texans just under three months ago but has now informed the franchise that he is retiring from the league, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
The cornerback has played 10 seasons in the league, including last year when he started 12 games for the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Darby was a second-round selection in the 2015 NFL Draft, as the Bills selected him No. 50 overall.
He spent the first two years of his career in Buffalo before traded to the Eagles.
In Philly, he battled through several injuries but was a starter in the secondary when healthy, and helped his team defeat the Patriots in a classic Super Bowl win.

The final five seasons of his career, after he left Philadelphia in 2019, were spent with four different franchises.
He spent a year with the Commanders, signed a three-year, $30million contract with the Broncos (where he spent two seasons), and wrapped up his career with a year apiece in Baltimore and Jacksonville.
Darby has yet to speak out on his reported retirement.
He’ll retire with $43million in earnings, per Spotrac.
