Patrick and Brittany Mahomes had one of the best seats in the hous on Wednesday night for the NBA game everyone was talking about.
The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback is a huge Dallas Mavericks fan and took his wife to the game that saw former Mavs star Luka Doncic return to play his old team after his shock trade to the Los Angeles Lakers earlier this year.
Doncic put on a stunning display, scoring 45 points as the Lakers won 112-97. He saw Mahomes in his seat after the game and went over and hugged him.
When the shock Doncic trade was announced in early February, a stunned Mahomes took to X late at night and said: ‘I’m sick right now.’
And unfortunately for the three-time Super Bowl winner, he had a great view of everything his team is now missing.
In the first half, Doncic blitzed 31 points before combining with LeBron James to take the game away from the Mavs in the final quarter.

Mahomes often gets to Mavericks games during the NFL offseason. Last year, he took Travis Kelce to a playoff game with him but his Chiefs teammate was booed by the fans that night.
As Kelce appeared on the jumbotron, the arena erupted with booes – prompting Kelce to theatrically turn around and point at himself in surprise.
On Wednesday night, the Mavericks paid tribute to Doncic with a tribute video played on the jumbotron before the game that brought him to tears.
But he swiftly put his emotions to one side and made a blistering start to the game on what used to be his home court.
The Lakers won the game 112-97, with Doncic recording the 46th 40-point game of his career by ending the night with a tally of 45. James backed him up with 27 of his own.
The Lakers are battling to lock third place in the Western Conference with two games left in the regular season ahead of the playoffs.
Doncic and his mean face the Houston Rockets next and then the Portland Trail Blazers before advancing into the postseason.
For Mahomes, his night out with his wife comes hours after sharing footage of his return to the football field to practice in the offseason.
The Chiefs quarterback also appears to be getting into the best shape possible and has shared multiple workout videos from the gym since losing the Super Bowl in mid-February.
