Former NBA star Eric Bledsoe was reportedly arrested on Wednesday over an alleged incident of domestic violence.
The 35-year-old, who played for the Memphis Grizzlies and LA Clippers, is said to have been detained at around 2:30am Wednesday after California Highway Patrol investigated a report, according to TMZ.
The probe led CHP investigators to a gas station on a Los Angeles-area freeway where Bledsoe and a woman who had sustained ‘bruising and swelling to her face’ were discovered.
When officers arrived at the scene, the woman told them that Bledsoe had allegedly hit her. The guard reportedly refused to provide a statement and he was ultimately arrested.
Bledsoe was reportedly booked on a felony charge of domestic violence and held on $55,000 bail.
The arrest comes just two months after police were called to Bledsoe’s Los Angeles home after neighbors reported an alleged domestic disturbance.

The former guard is believed to have been in a relationship with Briona Mae since 2020
In April, officers responded to calls at the property but Bledsoe and his girlfriend Briona Mae were reportedly uncooperative.
The responding officers reportedly investigated the scene and determined that a dispute had taken place. They then concluded that the former guard had been locked out of the home at some point during tiff and had to force his way back inside.
However, the report added that there were no signs of domestic violence. No arrests were made in relation to that incident.
It is also unclear whether the woman who claimed Bledsoe hit her at the gas station is Briona.
However, the former NBA player was previously arrested following allegations of domestic abuse made by Briona in October, 2022.
In a since-deleted Instagram post, Briona shared images of her injuries – with a red mark on the left side of her face.
‘NO RELATIONSHIP LIKE THIS IS EVER WORTH STAING IN !!,’ the caption on her Instagram post read. ‘I’m far from a saint but this isn’t ok.’
‘Domestic violence is real! This wasn’t the first time but I sat here and stayed so it’s my fault! ERIC BLEDSOE really is a monster’, the post continued.
Bledsoe was accused of domestic violence in 2022 but charges were later dropped
Bledsoe was reportedly taken into a sheriff’s office in Lost Hills, CA, and was booked before being released. However, charges were later dropped due to ‘insufficient evidence.’
Bledsoe was drafted in 2010 by the Oklahoma City Thunder, who traded him to the Los Angeles Clippers. In addition to those two teams, he’s spent time with the Phoenix Suns, Milwaukee Bucks, and New Orleans Pelicans.
Bledose then took his talents to China, where he played for the Shanghai Sharks for three years.
Briona and Bledsoe are believed to have been dating since 2020 and share twin daughters, Norah and Noor.
Briona is known for participating on reality TV show ‘She’s Got Game’ in 2015 and is also a model, actress and designer.
She is also believed to have dated a number of other high-profile celebrities, including boxer J’Leon Love, rappers The Game and Rome Miller and NFL player Kelvin Benjamin. She had two children with Benjamin during their four year relationship.
