Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson has torn his right Achilles for the second time in three months and undergone surgery for the second time.
Watson tore his Achilles the first time on October 20. It had been reported he had endured a setback in his recovery from his first operation but now the full extent of the damage is clear.
It is not yet known how the quarterback hurt himself a second time but he has a very long road ahead of him to make it back to the NFL. NFL insider Adam Schefter says Watson faces at least seven months of recovery.
The Browns have the second pick in the 2025 and are now almost guaranteed to pick a quarterback.
