Coco Gauff beat Aryna Sabalenka in a thrilling French Open final at Roland Garros on Saturday.

No 1 seed Sabalenka won an epic 77-minute first set via a tie-break but her 21-year-old opponent stormed back to take the second 6-2.

Gauff then secured a memorable victory by winning the deciding set 6-4 to add the French Open to the US title she earned back in 2023.

The final was so finely poised right until the end, with Gauff needing to save a break point in the last game.

When the final point was won, the American was visibly overjoyed — and clearly tired too — as she collapsed to the clay.

More to follow.
