Chris Eubank Jr has successfully made weight this morning ahead of his blockbuster clash with Conor Benn, tipping the scales at 169.4lbs.
Both fighters were subject to a strict 170lb cap for the fight-day weigh-in, part of a tightly negotiated agreement following the collapse of their original 2022 bout.
Conor Benn weighed in slightly lighter at 165lbs, setting the stage for Saturday night’s main event at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Eubank’s successful weigh-in today will come as a relief after Friday’s official weigh-in drama, where the 35-year-old narrowly missed the middleweight limit at the first attempt.
Initially coming in at 160.2lbs – 0.2lbs over the 160lb threshold – he stripped down and returned to the scale, registering 160.05lbs.
Still, that figure was half an ounce over the limit and triggered a hefty fine of $500,000 (£375,000) as stipulated in the fight contract.

Benn meanwhile came in at a trim 156lbs 4oz and has had no issues making weight this week
Despite the setback, Eubank Jr, who has also fought at super middleweight in his career, remained composed about the situation.
Speaking to Mail Sport ahead of fight week, he admitted he had sought outside help for the first time in his career.
‘I’ve never felt like I needed a nutritionist before,’ Eubank told Mail Sport. ‘I’ve never missed weight before. But I’m following a plan now. Usually I just trust my own instincts and my own knowledge. But, I have made a change for this camp.’
Benn, meanwhile, had no such trouble, coming in at a trim 156lbs 4oz. The 23-0 (14 KOs) contender looked relaxed as he made weight well under the limit.
With today’s weight checks complete and no further financial penalties looming, all eyes now turn to the fight this evening, with the pair set to settle their rivalry in the ring.
