Chris Eubank Jr’s has been discharged from hospital two days after being admitted following his thrilling victory over Conor Benn on Saturday night.
Eubank Jr earned a unanimous decision in their grudge match at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday night.
He suffered a nasty cut above his eye in the latter rounds and was unable to attend the post-fight press conference as his doctor sent him to hospital.
Eubank Jr’s promoter Ben Shalom had dismissed fears he had sustained a broken jaw in the fight, revealing on Sunday that his fighter was resting in hospital.
Shalom said there Eubank Jr had undergone ‘precautionary checks to monitor his vitals and ensure everything is in order.’
Eubank Jr, 35, was discharged from hospital on Monday morning, with the fighter issuing a statement to fans following his victory over Benn.
