The Chicago Bears are hiring Detroit Lions offensive coordinator Ben Johnson as the team’s new head coach.
After weeks of speculation, the 5-12 NFL strugglers have made a decision, per ESPN, and Johnson will become a head coach for the first time in his career.
The highly-sought after OC has been in Detroit since 2019, rising through the ranks from offensive quality control coach through to OC in 2022.
