Chelsea are lining up an opening bid for Alejandro Garnacho – and could have a free run at signing the Manchester United star.
The Red Devils forward has struggled to fit into Ruben Amorim’s system since Erik ten Hag left the club, and has been of interest to the Blues, who are in the market for a new wide player this month.
The Blues have been in a somewhat war with Italian side Napoli in a bid to sign the 20-year-old, but Antonio Conte and Co are also in talks with Borussia Dortmund to sign winger Karim Adeyemi.
Should a move for Adeyemi go through, it is unlikely Garnacho would also join the club, meaning Chelsea would have the power when it comes to a possible destination.
He has also been linked with Napoli, but the Italian side are now understood to be looking elsewhere.
