The current standings
Here’s how the top half of the Premier League table is looking going into tonight, then.
Five points is the gap between City and Arsenal and, after tonight, they will both have only one game remaining each.
So we know that, unless City win and take the gap to two points tonight, it’s done.
And then we look at Bournemouth. Currently sixth in the table, they are set to compete in Europe for the first time in the club’s history next season, but what competition remains to be seen.
They will still have one eye on the Champions League, which is some achievement. Top five will get them there and, win tonight, and they will be one point behind Liverpool in fifth with one game to play.
But Europa League qualification is likely at this point and that will represent a truly sensational season for the Cherries.
