College football analyst Booger McFarland shocked ESPN viewers over the weekend when he began openly discussing his visit to an Atlanta strip club while live on TV.
McFarland, a two-time Super Bowl champion with the Bucs and Colts, was filling time during the halftime break of the Pop-Tarts Bowl when the wild moment occurred.
He was asked by his ESPN colleague to share his favorite memory of playing in a bowl game during his time with LSU between 1995 and 1998… but it’s fair to say nobody was quite expecting the response he gave.
Without missing a beat, McFarland replied: ‘My first experience in the Peach Bowl in Atlanta.’
He went on to explain: ‘First time getting per diem – $987 – went to one nice establishment and I gave it all away. They had some good wings though. Lemon pepper wings… me and Lou Williams have something in common.’
McFarland played in three bowl games for LSU – the second of which coming in the Peach Bowl in Atlanta in 1996.

The Tigers beat Clemson 10-7, and the celebrations seemingly got wild after the game.
While he didn’t explicitly reveal where he and his teammates went to celebrate, McFarland’s Lou Williams reference appeared to pinpoint Atlanta’s famous Magic City strip club as the ‘establishment’ in question.
Back in 2020, the NBA star was granted permission to leave the league’s Covid bubble to attend his grandfather’s funeral, before he was pictured at Magic City.
By way of explanation, Williams insisted he had simply made a pitstop there for some food, with the strip club being famous for its lemon pepper wings.

It ended up being a far more expensive visit than he’d planned, with Williams forced into a mandatory 10-day quarantine on his return, which ensured he missed multiple Clippers games, including the season opener.
Perhaps more importantly, though, it coined his nickname – Lemon Pepper Lou – which he even trademarked in September 2020.
Williams now even has a wing named after him at Magic City – the Louwill Lemon Pepper BBQ – and is said to be a regular visitor to the strip club.
After the McFarland incident was posted online, Williams even weighed in, reposting the clip alongside a laughing and handshake emoji.
