Shedeur Sanders briefly left the Cleveland Browns’ game against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday after suffering a gruesome cut to his pinky finger.
The young Browns quarterback, whose bloodied finger nail appeared to be hanging off in worrying fashion, exited the field in clear discomfort during the second quarter at Huntington Bank Field.
He was quickly tended to on the sidelines by Cleveland’s medical staff, who took him into the medical tent to work on the injury to his throwing hand.
Sanders, 23, then returned moments later with a plaster over his pinky finger, after temporary replacement Dillon Gabriel was sacked on the resulting third-down play.
To make matters worse for Cleveland, star running back Quinshon Judkins was later carted off towards the end of the second quarter after suffering a leg injury.
