The Miami Dolphins have traded star wide receiver Jaylen Waddle to the Denver Broncos as the South Florida football team enters a full rebuild.

Waddle was packaged with a fourth-round pick and sent to Denver in exchange for the Broncos’ first-round pick this year (30th overall) as well as a third-round pick and a fourth-round pick.

The move solidifies the Dolphins’ plans to re-tool next season after officially ending the Tua Tagovailoa experiment.

Adding Waddle gives Denver one of the most talented wide receiver groups in the league as quarterback Bo Nix has targets like Courtland Sutton and Troy Franklin to pass to.

As for Miami, quarterback Malik Willis will now look to Tutu Atwell as his top target on a team that has not won a playoff game since 2000.

Waddle was a star at Alabama who was selected sixth overall by the Dolphins in the 2021 NFL Draft.
