Bill Maher clashed with a guest on his podcast over his White House dinner with Donald Trump.
The Club Random host spoke with author Sam Harris on an episode released on Monday (9 March), when the subject of Maher dining with the president came up.
Harris said he would never have taken the invitation, but understood why Maher went.
“Your position, it’s not someone who wants to actually make the country better, it’s someone who just wants to wallow in Trump hate,” Maher replied.
It comes after Maher said he “never stopped criticizing” Trump, in response to the president’s Valentine’s Day rant about him.
