Bill Belichick and 24-year-old girlfriend Jordon Hudson stepped out in New York City on Monday night amid controversy over his excruciating interview with CBS.
The legendary football coach, 73, was left squirming in his seat when CBS Sunday Morning’s Tony Dokoupil asked how he first met Hudson during an interview to promote his new book at the weekend.
In a painfully awkward moment which has gone viral on social media, his younger lover then interrupted as she told Dokoupil while sitting nearby off-camera: ‘We’re not talking about this.’
TMZ has also reported that the former cheerleader, who has dated Belichick for around three years, stormed out of the interview at one stage and delayed shooting for around 30 minutes.
Fans have expressed fears over the nature of Bill’s relationship with Jordon after a clip of the latter gatecrashing the interview went viral, with many questioning how much control she has over him – while Belichick’s friends are even said to have contacted him with concerns about the romance.
And as the backlash continues to intensify, the controversial couple broke cover after heading out for dinner together in New York on Monday night.

Hudson, wearing a black top and a stylish black-and-white skirt with matching shoes, was all smiles as she headed out on her date night with Bill, who trailed behind with a more serious look on his face while wearing a navy suit jacket, white shirt and light-blue tie with black pants and shoes.
The day after their dinner date in the Big Apple, Jordon posted a confusing cryptic statement on behalf of Bill in an apparent attempt to divert attention from the horror show of his car crash CBS interview.
Hudson shared a screenshot of an email written by Belichick to members of his camp. ‘Full statement to be released later today,’ she teased in the caption.
The message shows him complaining about unnamed media coverage surrounding his new book, albeit before his nightmare CBS interview that is now dominating the narrative around them.
Hudson has also has hit back at her and Belichick’s critics by reposting a number of users defending their antics during the interview on X, a platform she has not used for over three months.
Several of the posts were directed at Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy, who blasted the interview as ‘awkward’ after watching Hudson gatecrash it.
‘Nothing awkward about it,’ one user replied to Portnoy. ‘Imagine a private person wanting to keep their private life private. Shocking’.

Another argument reposted by Hudson reads: ‘I see a woman who cares about her man and doesn’t want him to be screwed around by the media.’
‘Bill looks like he wants to reach across and strangle the life out of the interviewer. I kinda wish he did,’ said a third.
One user responded to an article by Pro Football Talk questioning Hudson’s involvement in the interview and wrote: ‘Or maybe she didn’t want her or their personal relationship to be part of the interview instead on football..
‘I think if they don’t want to talk about they shouldn’t and if anything — your article demons why.. trying to embellish and take things out of context’.
ProFootballTalk claim Hudson interrupted the interview on several other occasions as well as the moment that went viral, which caused the network to include the example of her shutting down a question.
The fallout isn’t stopping there for Belichick after his interview with CBS. A New York Post report Tuesday says his friends are ‘shaking their heads’ at the romance and have contacted him about it.

‘They are talking to him about her, but very gently because they know how deep in he is,’ the Post quotes an insider as saying. ‘She saw an opening and she took it.
‘This guy is known as being such a strong voice and in many ways autocratic — and here he is becoming mush in her hands and letting her direct everything. She is so much younger, so inexperienced and so lacking in perspective and professionalism.
‘This CBS interview really exposed how bad things are and how much control that she’s been able to get. The optics were brutal.’
The Post article also says a different source close to Bill thinks his relationship with Jordon is ‘alarming’ and that she is ‘a runaway train’.
