Joe Biden has shared a huge regret about his presidency as he makes way for Donald Trump’s return to the White House.
The 82-year-old sat down with MSNBC for his final televised interview before he leaves office.
Mr Biden expressed his disappointment at his failure to sell his administration’s accomplishments in a way that could have helped him sustain public approval and win a second term.
He described his regret at not putting his name on Covid stimulus checks, admitting: “Ironically, I almost spent too much time on the policy and not enough time on the politics.”
