There’s nothing quite as exciting as opening a gorgeously presented hamper packed with delicious food and drink, no matter the occasion. So whether you’re sending one as a gift or picking one for yourself, I’ve rounded up the best options.
I’ve been reviewing hampers for three years (a difficult job, but someone’s got to), so I’ve come to understand what makes a good hamper (beautifully packaged, thoughtful inclusions, and a delicious range of produce) and, crucially, which ones aren’t worth your time.
For 2025, I’ve found small hampers ideal for a bit of me-time while binging Netflix, options to thrill your host if you’re heading for a Christmas party, and larger hampers packed with everything you need for a get-together, whether sharing with friends or the whole family.
Christmas is truly when things get extra special in the world of hampers: a wicker basket brimming with festive food and drink is something I’ll never tire of opening. So keep reading for my selection of this year’s best options.

How I tested
Hampers are released throughout the year, and I test all the new launches and releases to find out which ones are worth investing in. When it comes to reviewing, I always consider the items included (I look for hampers with a nice selection of products), any additional extras, and broad appeal (I assess how I’d feel if each hamper were gifted to me and what kind of person would like to receive it). I also always think about the wow factor, which is a must.
