Bolton Wanderers have signed defender Ben Davies on a two-year deal from Scottish Premiership side Rangers.
The 30-year-old began his career with Preston North End, making 145 appearances during his time with the Lancashire club.
He went on to join Liverpool but did not make an appearance for the club before joining Rangers in 2022 where he has turned out 58 times in all competitions.
“It feels brilliant to be here. I heard of interest from a few clubs but as soon as I knew Bolton were interested, this was the club I wanted to come to.
“It’s going to be exciting times back in the Championship after an excellent year last season. I’ve seen that the average attendance last year was over 20,000 and that was a massive pull for me.”
Davies has spent the past two seasons on loan, making 35 appearances as he helped Birmingham City to a record-breaking season during which they won the League One title in 2024-25.
He then spent part of last season on loan at Oxford United, making 11 appearances.
