Lamarr Wilson, a beloved creator and host known to millions as the “Tech Lifestyle Entertainer,” has passed away unexpectedly at age 48, Page Six has learned exclusively.

With a global community of more than 3 million followers, he became a trusted and influential voice across digital platforms, seamlessly connecting technology with everyday life.

Since 2008, Wilson used his rare ability to make technology feel human, joyful and accessible to a wide audience.

Wilson, a beloved influencer with over 3 million followers, has passed away at age 48.
Wilson was a People’s Voice Webby Award winner who brought joy to his fans with his humorous technology content.

Wilson’s career spanned hosting, commentary and content creation, with standout work for Mashable (“Socially Awkward,” “YouTube Weekly”), Zagat, “What’s Trending” and as co-host of the Webby Award–winning “Takei’s Take” alongside “Star Trek” alum George Takei.

He collaborated with leading brands including Google, Apple, Microsoft/Xbox, Sony PlayStation and Nintendo, and was a familiar presence on panels, podcasts and showcases throughout the tech and gaming worlds.

In 2021, his successful pivot to short-form vertical video doubled his audience, underscoring his creativity, adaptability and instinct for where culture was heading next.

A Chicago native who later made his home in Los Angeles, Wilson began creating content online in 2008.
