Join Belfast Tech Week to meet partners, learn skills, and share ideas

Belfast Tech Week will run from 20 to 26 September 2025, with more than 50 events taking place across the city. The week brings together startups, established businesses, researchers, and international experts in celebrating Northern Ireland’s growing tech sector.

Unlike a traditional conference, this event runs as an “unconference”. Instead of a single organiser or set agenda, local businesses, business organisations, and individuals host their own sessions under the Belfast Tech Week banner.

These community-curated sessions range from workshops, pitch events, and product launches to panel talks, hackathons, and networking meetups. The open approach keeps the programme flexible and inclusive, giving businesses the chance to shape discussions, share expertise, and take part in ways that matter to them.

Most events are free and focus on practical challenges facing the Northern Ireland economy finding and keeping talent, improving cyber security, scaling up, and using innovation to grow.

Key highlights from the programme include

  • workshops on digital tools and AI for efficiency and competitiveness
  • Tech Connect meetups from organisations like Digital Catapult
  • sessions showcasing Women in Tech leadership and innovation
  • forums on workforce diversity, scaling, and sustainable growth

By attending, businesses can

  • learn new skills and see the latest technologies
  • meet potential clients, partners, and recruits
  • share knowledge and showcase expertise within the tech community
  • gather insights to strengthen their growth plans

Organisers expect more than 2,000 participants, building on the success of last year’s inaugural event. Spaces for some events may be limited, so early registration is advised.

Find programme details and register to join Belfast Tech Week events.
