The Belfast Islamic Centre has said it was at the centre of a security alert in south Belfast.
It happened at the building on University Road on Friday night.
A 34-year-old man has been arrested.
The Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) said a number of cordons were in place over night during the alert.
