Volunteers from the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) saved a person who was trapped in sinking sand just in the nick of time.
Footage shared by the Rhyl Lifeboat Station on Monday (1 June) shows a crew travelling towards the stranded casualty after an alert from the Coastguard.
Arriving at the scene, the volunteers placed a lifejacket on the person as they helped them escape the quicksand by encouraging them to float on their back. They then helped them onto the lifeboat.
They were then brought back to the lifeboat station for a check over and to warm up.
