The winners of the 2025 Bafta TV Awards are being announced in London today (11 May).

Stars of the small screen – including host Alan Cumming– are gathering at the South Bank Centre’s Royal Festival Hall to discover this year’s victors, with a truncated version of the event to be broadcast on BBC One at 7pm.

Mr Bates vs Post Office is set to receive a special recognition at the event after the groundbreaking series sparked a public inquiry, leading to over 100 wrongfully accused subpostmasters having their convictions quashed. The Bafta television special award will be presented to ITV’s managing director Kevin Lygo at the event.

Among the most nominated shows tonight are Baby Reindeer, created by and starring Richard Gadd, which dominated the list with eight nominations. It was closely followed by Rivals (starring David Tennant and adapted from a Jilly Cooper novel by the same name), Apple TV’s Slow Horses (starring Gary Oldman) and Mr Bates vs the Post Office, with six nominations each.

Strictly Come Dancing was snubbed after the show failed to secure a Bafta TV Awards nomination in the Entertainment category for the first time in over a decade – and one year after it last won. The show received one nomination for Chris McCausland and Dianne Buswell’s waltz to “You’ll Never Walk Alone” in a category voted for by the public. The show has been plagued by scandal and controversy over the last year.

The list of winners will be updated below as they are announced.
