The final furlong
Seven. Games. To. Go.
Arsenal’s dreams of a first Premier League title in 22 years are slowly starting to become a reality. They really aren’t far away now.
Win all of their games and they are champions, and by a comfortable margin at that.
They are nine points clear of Manchester City, who have a game in hand, and have a chance to stretch that lead to 12 this afternoon.
The Gunners face a Bournemouth side who have given them some issues in a title race in the past (last year, if you remember), so this is by no means a walkover for the league leaders.
But if they want to win this title, Mikel Arteta’s side simply have to treat this game like it’s a final (just not the Carabao Cup final, otherwise they may lose).
Anyway, we are less than 75 minutes from kick-off at the Emirates now, so let’s get cracking.
Allons y!
