Sancho’s time to shine

It really is a big night for Jadon Sancho.

It’s been really hard for fringe players to break into this Aston Villa team due to how well they have been playing. I mean, we have all seen what has happened to Harvey Elliott, haven’t we?

Sancho was in a similar position to Elliott prior to the weekend; he barely got a sniff, but that cameo at Stamford Bridge changed everything.

Now he has his chance to make himself a mainstay on the Villa side and rebuild his career, which has had more twists and turns than Nemesis Inferno at Thorpe Park.

Can he grab his chance with both hands?
