Arsenal ace Declan Rice has been banned from driving after he was caught speeding in his £40,000 Land Rover twice on the same road in a week.

The £105million midfielder, 26, was clocked doing 37mph in a 30mph zone on the A217 near his multi-million-pound Surrey home on January 3 last year.

Just five days later, on January 8, the midfielder was caught doing 49mph in a 40mph zone on the same road.

The England international, who lives in a £3million mansion in Surrey, did not appear at Crawley Magistrates Court on Tuesday but was hit with a £2,185 fine.

He was also banned from driving for six months which came after a totting up process as Rice already had six points on his licence, bringing the total to 15 points.

His £2,185 fine comprises a £1,500 financial penalty, a £600 surcharge and £85 court costs.

The Arsenal star joined Chelsea’s academy in 2006 and signed his first professional contract with West Ham in 2015.

In 2023 he captained the Hammers to victory in the Europa Conference League final as David Moyes’ side beat Fiorentina 2-1.

Later that summer he moved to Arsenal for a British record £105million.

Rice’s girlfriend is Lauren Fryer, 26, and they have a son together.
