If you’ve been thinking of investing in a pair of AirPods, listen up: there are discounts to be had in the Amazon Prime Day sale. This year’s event has served up some of best Apple audio deals I’ve seen all year, and several of the biggest savings are still available to shop. You don’t have long, though, as Prime Day comes to an end at midnight.
As someone who’s spent almost 10 years tracking Prime Day, Black Friday and every major tech sale in between, I can tell you that good discounts on Apple products are rare. AirPods, in particular, hardly ever see chunky price cuts, but this year has been an exception.
The AirPods 4 with active noise cancellation still have £45 off (taking them down to their lowest-ever price), while the standard AirPods 4 have fallen below the £80 mark, thanks to a discount of more than 30 per cent.
Keep scrolling for details about these deals and more – there’s also a substantial £130 saving on the AirPods Max and a welcome reduction on the AirPods Pro 3.

AirPods 4 wireless earbuds with active noise cancellation: Was £169, now £125.40, Amazon.co.uk
The Independent’s tech critic David Phelan tested the AirPods 4 as soon as they launched in September 2024. In his Airpods 4 review, David described the audio quality as “strong” and said: “Listening to music is exemplary, even with noise-cancelling off, offering decent breadth of sound and fidelity in vocals and mid-range notes.”
These are MagSafe compatible and David described them as “amazingly small and light”, adding that they come with a feature you may find handy if you’re prone to losing your earphones. “There’s also a speaker on the bottom of the case so if you lose your AirPods, you can cause the case to make a sound to help you find it,” he wrote.
They’re designed for better comfort over long periods than previous models, and David confirmed that they were “definitely comfortable”.
You’ll get a battery life of five hours if you choose to use noise-cancelling, and four hours with. Plus, you’ll get up to an hour’s listening time after a five-minute charge time.
AirPods 4 wireless earbuds: Was £119, now £79.80, Amazon.co.uk

These earbuds feel similar to their premium counterpart “with the same comfortable fit and intuitive controls where you press to pause or play, for instance,” writes tech critic David Phelan in his review. However, they don’t come with active noise cancellation.
If this feature isn’t important to you, you can save 32 per cent on the AirPods 4, which brings the price down to £79.80.
David described them as “the best-value AirPods ever” and praised their “neat design, tiny case, good battery life and excellent sound.”
Apple AirPods Max wireless over-ear headphones: Was £499, now £369, Amazon.co.uk

Listen up: there’s a whopping £130 off Apple AirPods Max headphones right now. In my review, I gave the over-ear headphones an impressive five-star rating, noting they’re “soft and comfy to wear” and “even better than some of the active noise-cancelling headphones we’ve tried.” The headphones have a USB-C charging port, integrated Siri functionality and come in five colours (although it’s the blue shade that’s currently reduced). I’d hurry if I were you, the midnight shade was also on offer at the start of the Prime Day celebrations, but has now sold out.
Apple AirPods Pro 3 wireless earbuds: Was £219, now £175, Amazon.co.uk

There’s £44 off AirPods Pro 3 wireless earbuds right now, with this pair offering eight hours of active noise cancellation on a single charge. Plus, you don’t need to be a Prime member to save on Apple’s latest earbuds.
In his review, tech critic David Phelan said the earbuds are “some of the best premium wireless earbuds you can buy.” And they’re an even better buy at this price, so we’d suggest snapping up the saving before it disappears.
Mujjo echelon leather case for AirPods (4th gen): Was £39, now £27.30, Amazon.co.uk

While you’re grabbing your reduced AirPods, you may as well secure some protection, too – especially if you’re prone to bouts of clumsiness (guilty). With a discount of more than £10, this leather case will not only be a stylish addition to your keys, but it’ll prevent your AirPods shell from becoming scratched. Even better, tech critic David Phelan gave the Mujjo brand his seal of approval in his guide to the best iPhone 16 cases. “Mujjo makes excellent leather cases with understated designs,” he wrote. This offer isn’t a Prime Day reduction and, in fact, the case has been 30 per cent off since May – so there’s not as much of a rush if you’d rather see how your Apple casing fares before you fork out.
