Angel Reese was not surprised by her brother Julian’s latest milestone for the Maryland Terrapins, given their impressive March Madness run.
In their nail-biting Round of 32 victory over Colorado State, the senior forward clocked 15 points and 11 rebounds to help secure the 72-71 win.
With his performance, Julian reached 1000 career rebounds (1106 total) in Terrapins gear. He joined Len Elmore as the only player to reach the milestone in program history.
Posting the graphic from the Terrapins page, the Chicago Sky star wrote, ‘duhhhhh.’
Angel also posted the game-winning bucket from freshman Derik Queen on her Instagram story. Baltimore native played at Maryland for her first two years in college before transferring to LSU and getting drafted by Chicago with the 7th overall pick in 2024.
After beating the Rams, Maryland secured a Sweet 16 meeting with the Florida Gators on March 27.

Julian is averaging 13.3 points and 9.1 boards in his senior campaign and is considered a prospect for the upcoming NBA Draft.
On the other hand, Angel made a strong impression with the Sky, averaging 13.6 points and 13.1 boards per game, despite her rookie season in the WNBA being cut short.
After her wrist injury healed, Angel played in the inaugural season of the Unrivaled 3-on-3 league for Rose Basketball Club. She averaged 13.3. points, 12.1 rebounds, and 1.9 assists.
With the new WNBA season approaching, Reese looks to help Chicago bounce back from a 13-27 campaign last year.
