Los Angeles Sparks guard Kelsey Plum took some time to flex her strength against second-year center Angel Reese in her game against the Chicago Sky on Sunday.
Early in the first quarter, Plum made her presence known by driving the lane against Reese and putting up a contested layup attempt.
Despite Reese being much taller than Plum, the ball found its way in through the hoop for the score.
As she ran up court, Plum looked away from Reese, extended her arm below her hip and held her palm out flat – known as the ‘too small’ celebration.
Plum finished the game with 28 points and eight assists while hitting 6-of-10 3-pointers in the Sparks’ 91-78 win.
Reese ended up leading the Sky with a double-double of 13 points and 12 rebounds – which wasn’t nearly enough to remain competitive.

Reese’s shooting has hit something of a rough patch to begin an 0-3 season for the Sky
The Sky have had a rough start to their season – falling to 0-3 and in search of their first win since September 8, 2024.
Counting last season, the Sky have lost eight straight regular season games in the league.
While Reese continues to lead the league in rebounding, her scoring still has room for improvement.
Last week, Reese went 0-for-8 from the field against the New York Liberty – with one particularly tough shooting stretch going viral.
In the clip, Reese collects an offensive rebound and misses her first shot before getting the ball back and missing for a second time.
Reese’s third and fourth attempts at making a field goal were both met by Jones with a block. The former LSU star gives up at that point and passes the ball back to the perimeter.
