Ange Postecoglou said the Nottingham Forest fans are entitled to call for his sacking but insisted he will start winning games soon.
The Australian faced chants of ‘You’re getting sacked in the morning’ as he became the first Forest boss in 100 years to fail to win any of his first six games in charge.
Forest’s first European game at the City Ground in nearly three decades ended in a disastrous 3-2 defeat to Midtjylland that leaves Postecoglou under huge pressure.
Postecoglou has been in charge for just 23 days since replacing former boss Nuno Espirito Santo, whose name the fans sung at full-time.
‘The fans are disappointed and they are entitled to have an opinion on it,’ said Postecoglou. ‘I heard their opinion.
‘Nothing surprises me in football anymore. I guess it’s just the climate we are in and it seems that this is the way things are going.
Ange Postecoglou was booed by his own supporters in Nottingham Forest’s defeat

The Forest boss said supporters are entitled to boo him but insisted he will turn it around
‘It’s nothing I can control. I have just got to make sure we get some wins for this football club.
‘Yes, I do,’ he replied when asked if he still believed he could change Forest’s fortune around. ‘Nothing I saw tonight changes any part of that.
‘I get the mood around the place isn’t going to be great and I understand people’s attitude at the moment particularly towards me but I’ve never been worried about that, it’s familiar territory for me.
‘I believe we are on the right track and when we get through this period we will be on a good path.’
