Fans of the wizarding world listen up as all the Harry Potter films are coming to HBO Max as the streaming service launches tomorrow (Thursday, 26 March). The fantasy films will join the medical drama The Pitt, the return of cult series Friends, as well as the much anticipated new Harry Potter series – a rework of the famed franchise.

At the start of this year, all of the Harry Potter movies were scrubbed from Netflix in preparation for the move to HBO Max. Now, they’re back and will be yours to watch on the new streaming platform with the swish of your streaming stick. If you’re ready to settle in for a movie marathon, here’s every film in the series to work your way through (or for true Potterheads, rewatch for the fifteenth time):

  • Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone
  • Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets
  • Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
  • Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
  • Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
  • Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince
  • Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1
  • Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2

The news also comes as the first teaser picture of the Harry Potter TV series is released, showing the Boy Who Lived preparing for Quidditch, sending fans of the fantasy novels into spiral. This makes it the perfect time to catch up on the iconic moments from the eight films, from the sorting hat scene in ‘The Philosopher’s Stone’, to the thrilling standoff between Harry and Voldemort in ‘The Deathly Hallows: Part 2’.

The first teaser of the new Harry Potter series has dropped (HBO)

Whether you’re a cult fan of the Harry Potter films or have somehow missed out, all the films will be able to stream on HBO Max. Read on for all you need to know.
