Discover practical AI insights, emerging research, and collaboration opportunities

AICON Belfast, Northern Ireland’s largest artificial intelligence (AI) conference, will take place on Thursday 2 and Friday 3 October 2025.

Now in its seventh year, the event brings together business leaders, researchers, and policymakers to explore how AI is shaping industry and society.

Day 1 – AI Tracks

Held at ICC Belfast, the opening day offers two main tracks

  • AI Now – practical case studies on machine learning, natural language processing, and generative AI. Focusing on safe, transparent and accountable implementation.
  • AI Next – forward-looking sessions covering emerging research, ethical considerations, and long-term economic impact.

Day 2 – Research and innovation

The second day, hosted at W5 by the AI Collaboration Centre (AICC), highlights

  • academic breakthroughs
  • SME use cases across healthcare, fintech, and manufacturing
  • opportunities for cross-sector collaboration
