The A454 Royal Oak Roundabout at Hilton (near Claverley) is to be resurfaced from Monday 16 to Saturday 21 February [2026].

During the work the roundabout and its approaches will be closed overnight from 8pmn to 6am.

During the closures a signed diversion will be place – and access for properties within the closure will be maintained when safe to do so. Depending on their vehicle type, road users may be able to choose an alternative diversion route.

For more information visit and search the One Network roadworks website.

During the work, access to the works area will be restricted to:

    • Residents living within the closure.
    • Businesses located within the closure (if applicable)
    • Emergency vehicles

All planned roadworks are subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. Any changes will be displayed on the yellow advanced warning signs and on https://one.network/

Work will be carried out by Kier on behalf of Shropshire Council.
