Opportunity for Causeway Coast and Glens businesses to promote their events and products during an upcoming tourism initiative

Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council is inviting businesses across the Causeway Coast and Glens to take part in a destination-wide initiative taking place throughout October 2026 — ‘A Giant Taste of the Causeway Coast and Glens’.

This four-week programme will showcase the region’s food and drink, supporting a stronger, more collaborative tourism offering and boosting autumn visitation.

The council is asking for industry partners to develop new or enhanced, experience-led offerings with a strong food and drink element. These may include

  • exclusive or themed dining experiences
  • food and drink trails or guided tours
  • “Meet the maker” collaborations with local producers
  • tastings, demonstrations, and workshops
  • events, talks, or interactive experiences
  • pop-up dining or cross-sector collaborations

Participation is open to all sectors (hospitality, accommodation providers, attractions, activity providers, and more), provided there is a clear food or drink component.

Why get involved?

This is a key opportunity to

  • enhance the Causeway Coast and Glens visitor experience through collaborative programming
  • drive additional footfall and extend visitor dwell time
  • align with a coordinated, high-impact autumn marketing campaign
  • align your business with a high-quality, experience-led regional tourism initiative

Programme criteria

Interested businesses must ensure that

  • all activities take place between Thursday 1 October 2026 – Saturday 31 October 2026
  • all offerings must feature local produce
  • submissions must be experience-led rather than price-led
  • existing or standard offers (e.g. early bird menus, discounts) will not be included

Marketing support

All approved experiences will be included in the official ‘Giant Taste’ programme, supported by

  • a dedicated landing page on visitcausewaycoastandglens.com
  • targeted digital campaigns (Google Search & Display, META)
  • radio advertising
  • PR activity across Northern Ireland and ROI
  • engagement with bloggers and digital content creators

How to Take Part

To have your proposed event or experience considered for inclusion, please submit your offer by Friday 22 May 2026.

Send supporting imagery to [email protected].
