Paris Paloma reflected on modern masculinity, beauty standards and the themes behind her forthcoming second album, The Fatal Flaw, in an exclusive interview with The Independent at the Montreux Jazz Festival.
The British singer-songwriter said her record explores love in all its forms while examining the impact of patriarchy on both women and men.
“The masculinity we’re witnessing today is a tragedy,” she told Music Editor Roisin O’Connor, adding that young boys are being “indoctrinated” into harmful ideals. The Fatal Flaw is due for release in September.
