Serena Williams showed off her stunning new physique after stripping down to join Kevin Hart in an ice bath at Fanatics Fest.

The tennis icon, who was beaten in the first round after making an astonishing comeback at Wimbledon last month, took part in an episode of Hart’s ‘Cold as Balls’ show live on stage at the star-studded New York City event on Friday.

Williams slowly took the plunge and climbed into an ice bath to be interviewed by the actor and comedian as he sat alongside her in a freezing tub of his own.

She has flaunted her dramatic weight loss in recent months after controversially appearing in a Super Bowl commercial for a weight-loss drug in February, which even showed her injecting it at one stage.

And when she joined Hart in the ice baths at Fanatics Fest, the 23-time Grand Slam champion’s slender figure was clear for all to see.

The Cold as Balls host quizzed Williams on her recent singles comeback at Wimbledon, which ended in a straight-sets defeat to Australia’s Maya Joint in the very first round.

She was also set for a doubles reunion with sister Venus, before being forced to withdraw after ‘tweaking’ her knee during her singles loss to Joint.

When asked where she is at mentally after that disappointment, Williams told Hart: ‘That was hard mentally for me because it was totally preventable on my end. And in the match, in the second set, I was like, “I can’t move.” And I’m thinking, “Oh my God, I can’t move.” And it was almost even embarrassing.

‘But I [neglected] what I needed to do that was very preventative. And that was hard though because it was like, “Oh, if I had just done one thing, I wouldn’t have swollen. I would have been able to move, and who knows what would have happened? I don’t know.

‘But I would’ve at least had a little bit more fun out there instead of being in so much pain.’

Hart also asked if she has more to give in tennis despite her frustrating comeback.

‘I do. I do have more, but only because it’s fun,’ Williams explained. ‘I’ve never played for fun. I mean, I’ve played for fun, but this is different. I’m playing literally for fun and literally so my girls can see me and they can see what I can do. And it’s a completely different ball game.

‘And hopefully now I can play without pain, which I think I will be, but it was so fun to be back out there. And honestly, it was so humbling. I felt so appreciative. I’ve always loved the fans, but this made me just feel on a whole level of appreciation. And I got to enjoy that.

‘When you’re playing at a top level, sometimes you don’t get to enjoy the small thing. And I got to enjoy all the small things. So it was really cool.’
