We found your new “Obsession.”
One of the buzziest horror movies of the year is coming to Peacock. “Obsession,” directed by 26-year-old YouTuber-turned-filmmaker Curry Barker, debuts on NBCs streamer today, July 17.
“Obsession” has been one of the biggest box office success stories of the year so far, grossing over $428 million on a $750,000 budget. It continues to play in theaters, too, despite its streaming release.
The movie follows Bear (Michael Johnston), who breaks the mysterious ‘One Wish Willow’ and wishes to win over his crush, Nikki (Inde Navarette). Bear gets exactly what he wished for, but discovers that desires often come at a deeply sinister price.
