Tennis legend Venus Williams showed off her new husband, Andrea Preti, in an impromptu on-field photo shoot before England’s World Cup quarterfinal win over Norway in Miami.
After first tying the knot in Italy nine months ago and later holding a courthouse ceremony in Palm Beach, the happy couple was pictured sauntering across the field at Hard Rock Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
Normally such fan behavior isn’t tolerated, but Williams is a minority owner of the stadium’s main tenant, the NFL’s Miami Dolphins, so instead of security, a flock of photographers surrounded Williams and Preti.
Preti, a 38-year-old model/actor/writer/director from Copenhagen, was pictured kissing his smiling wife on the cheek before the pair feigned kicking a soccer ball for the cameras.
And of course, both were dressed in Lacoste, a clothing brand that has partnered with Williams since March of 2022.
Later, Williams was spotted by Fox Sports cameras while enjoying some white wine with Preti in a luxury suite, which is a moment her fans seemed to appreciate.

‘Legend V having a good time with her man candy omg,’ one admirer wrote on X.
‘When the trophy isn’t a tennis one she still brings the sparkle,’ someone added in another apparent reference to Preti.
Several others simply referred to her as a ‘Queen.’
While Williams’ resume is well known, many fans found themselves searching for information about Preti, who moved to Italy as a teenager to pursue acting.
He trained at the Susan Batson Academy in New York, later writing, directing and starring in the 2014 indie film One More Day.
Preti has also appeared in several Italian TV productions, including the drama A Professor and the 2023 reality series Temptation.
Williams was slated to play doubles as a wildcard entry at Wimbledon with her sister, Serena, but the 23-time Grand Slam winner was forced to drop out due to a swollen knee, leaving the older sibling without a partner. However, Venus did play mixed doubles with Kevin Krawietz, although they were eliminated in the first round.
