Support to help you accelerate practical industry adoption

Businesses can apply for the Digital Twin Adoption Accelerator Programme 2026, delivered by Digital Catapult. The programme pair small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with industry partners to build and test digital twin solutions for real business problems.

What the programme offers

Participants take part in a nine-month programme designed to accelerate adoption of digital twin technologies. Successful projects receive up to £100,000 in Innovate UK grant funding, alongside

  • technical support from Digital Catapult
  • access to facilities and real-world testing environments
  • one-to-one mentoring throughout the programme
  • opportunities to collaborate with industry partners
  • a final showcase event for industry, government and investors

Who can apply

Applications must be from pre-formed partnerships between a UK-based technology SME developing digital twin capabilities (for example in data services, cyber-physical systems or AI), and an industry organisation looking to adopt digital twin solutions.

Eligible sectors include automotive, agritech, maritime, aerospace and defence, clean energy, creative industries and life sciences. Either partner can lead the application.

The programme will support up to nine partnerships.

How to apply

You must apply online through Digital Catapult.

The deadline for applications is 6 September 2026.

You should review the FAQs and competition terms before applying.
