Hip-hop icon Jay-Z is set to make a highly anticipated return to London, announcing his first solo headline show in the UK in over a decade.

The 56-year-old US artist, born Shawn Corey Carter, will grace the stage at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this September for a special one-night event.

Titled JAY-Z30, the concert commemorates three decades since the release of his seminal debut album, Reasonable Doubt, and 25 years since his acclaimed sixth studio album, The Blueprint.

This London performance, scheduled for September 4, marks almost 13 years since his last solo appearance in the capital during his Magna Carter tour, and is one of only two European dates, preceding a show in Paris on September 10.

The London date notably coincides with his wife Beyoncé’s birthday, when she will turn 45.

The superstar vocalist featured on his 2002 follow-up album, Blueprint 2: The Gift & The Curse, lending her voice to the hit track 03 Bonnie And Clyde.

The concert also comes days after Beyoncé celebrates the 20th anniversary of her debut solo album, B-Day, which includes Jay-Z on the song Deja Vu.

The couple, who married in 2008 and share three children – Blue Ivy, Rumi, and Sir – have frequently collaborated, including on Drunk In Love and Crazy In Love, the latter of which they performed when Beyoncé surprised fans by bringing him out during the European leg of her Cowboy Carter tour in Paris last year.

Renowned for hits such as Empire State Of Mind, 99 Problems, and Numb/Encore, Jay-Z is also the co-founder of the entertainment powerhouse Roc Nation. His London show follows a series of upcoming performances at New York’s Yankee Stadium in July.

Beyoncé has toured the UK twice in recent years, performing on multiple occasions at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in 2023 and 2025 respectively.

The first tour came off the back of her releasing her 2022 album Renaissance, while she then returned last year to sing hits from her latest album, Cowboy Carter.

In the latter tour, Beyoncé was joined on stage by her eldest daughter, Blue Sky, for several dance routines that went viral.
