The sound of wedding bells is currently being drowned out by the noise of paparazzi and chauffeured cars pulling up outside Madison Square Garden, as celebrations are in full swing for the marriage of popstar Taylor Swift and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.
On Thursday, blacked-out SUVs believed to be carrying the happy couple arrived at the venue around 4 p.m. Thursday for the rehearsal dinner, before their close friends, including Bradley Cooper, Gigi Hadid, Selena Gomez, Abigail Anderson, Lena Dunham and Jack Antonoff, were spotted making their way to the venue.
Security on Thursday resembled a military-style operation. Guests arrived inside a covered gazebo to conceal them from the press, while cops moved along journalists and onlookers from the surrounding vicinity.
It is believed that a rehearsal dinner for 100 guests took place at the arena’s Infosys Theater before the big day Friday, where a cocktail hour will be held before the wedding ceremony at 5.30 p.m.
A reception is expected to conclude proceedings, with up to 1,000 guests anticipated to attend and dance the night away, celebrating Swift and Kelce’s “Love Story” until the early hours.
There has been speculation that the couple may be “already married” after exchanging vows in front of what the publication calls a “tiny group of loved ones,” according to the New York Post.

Taylor Swift teased ‘huge’ wedding
“I’m so excited about it,” Swift said at the time. “I know it’s gonna be fun to plan because I think the only stressful weddings are the ones where you have a small amount and people are on the bubble.”
She said that oftentimes, having fewer guests meant that the wedding planners “have to evaluate or assess your relationship,” to which she said, “I’m not going to do that.”
Swift kept to her word, as her wedding guest list reportedly included more than a thousand people.

Day one wrapped: Another day of trying to understand the mysterious spectacle happening inside MSG
Swifties are still dumbfounded that their No.1 Lover Girl has chosen New York’s MSG as her wedding venue.
Usually, it’s the home to sweaty basketball games and packed-out concerts, but this week, from what we know so far, it has been transformed into a fairytale set.
The general mood from Swift’s fandom is one of… “Is she really doing this?” But yes, it turns out, it’s happening, as the rumors suggested.
“I still don’t believe Taylor is getting married tomorrow. I feel like she’s fooling us,” one fan wrote on X. “So is it really happening at MSG, since we’re seeing guests enter? I was really hoping MSG was just a decoy,” another wrote on Reddit after Thursday’s rehearsal dinner.
On Friday, we’re expecting 1000 guests to arrive for the wedding party, which will undoubtedly bring a bigger spectacle.
Meet us back here for more live coverage tomorrow…
