Ivory Coast and Norway meet in a clash of World Cup dark horses as Erling Haaland looks to propel his Nordic nation beyond the last-32.

Playing in their first tournament finals since 1998, Norway stormed through the group as they sealed qualification before eventually succumbing to France, beating Iraq and Senegal as Haaland racked up four goals.

And while they come into the knockout stages off the back of a bruising 4-1 defeat to Les Bleus, Stale Solbakken opted to rest the majority of their team for that dead rubber of sorts, meaning Ivory Coast will have to contend with very fresh Norway team.

The Elephants, meanwhile, have also impressed so far this tournament, beating Ecuador and Curacao in the group while also taking four-time winners Germany to the wire, only to lose in the dying moments courtesy of super-sub Deniz Undav.

Here’s everything you need to know.

When is Ivory Coast vs Norway?

Ivory Coast’s round of 32 clash against Norway kicks off at 6pm BST (12pm CT) on Tuesday 30 June at Dallas Stadium.

How can I watch it?

Viewers in the UK can watch the game on BBC One, with it also available to stream on BBC iPlayer and the BBC Sport website.

Who will the winner play?

The winner will face Brazil in the round of 16 after the Selecao snuck past Japan with a dramatic 96th-minute winner from Gabriel Martinelli. That match will take place on Sunday 5 July at the New York/New Jersey Stadium.

Team news

Ivory Coast are set to be without defender Wilfried Singo again, who sat out the win over Curacao with a hamstring injury he picked up against Germany.

Norway are also dealing with issues on the right side of defence with Julian Ryerson a doubt after missing training with a thigh problem. Key stars like Erling Haaland and Martin Odegaard will return to the team after being rested against France.

Predicted line-ups

Ivory Coast XI: Fofana; Doue, Kossounou, O Diomande, Konan; Sangare; Diallo, Kessie, Oulai, Y Diomande; Pepe.

Norway XI: Nyland; Aursnes, Ajer, Heggem, Moller Wolfe; Odegaard, Berg, Berge; Sorloth, Haaland, Nusa.
