“I want these two boys to get some kind of reward or honour,” said Peacey from Church Village, Rhondda Cynon Taf, who has been undergoing tests since being released from University Hospital Wales on Monday.

“They were brilliant – and there’s a lot of bad press about young boys,” he told Radio Wales Breakfast with the trio reuniting in the studio in Cardiff’s Central Square.

Josh explained how he saw Peacey collapse so “ran over” and used his jacket to support Peacey’s head.

He said he put him in the recovery position while Taylor went for help but, although he couldn’t find a medic, a festival security guard also tried to help and called 999 for them.

“It would be just wrong if I’d left him there,” recalled Josh.

“It feels wrong to see someone injured or need support and not have it.”
