A targeted programme supporting social enterprises to build private sector partnerships and access social value opportunities

Social Enterprise NI (SE NI) has developed the Procurement Ready – Business Assessment to support organisations in assessing their readiness for corporate partnerships. The initiative focuses on building practical, outcome-led relationships with private sector partners and improving access to social value opportunities.

How the programme works

Successful organisations will receive tailored, one-to-one support to strengthen their ability to engage in social value partnerships with private sector organisations, including

  • bespoke baseline assessment of capacity, readiness and potential to work with private sector partners through tendering
  • expert delivery support providing specialist knowledge in corporate engagement, partnership development and social value
  • brokered partnership development to support the creation of effective and sustainable partnerships

Eligibility criteria

The opportunity is suitable for organisations that meet the following criteria

  • interested in developing or strengthening private sector relationships
  • seeking to better understand and demonstrate social value
  • open to collaboration through competitive tendering processes
  • able to commit time and senior-level engagement
