Professor Gillian Leng CBE, Chair of IIAC, said she is grateful for the depth of knowledge and expertise Professor McElvenny brings to the Council across a broad occupational health landscape. She noted that Professor McElvenny has been an effective contributor, bringing insight to challenging discussions, and has helped to shape improved ways of working for the Council, including greater clarity in decision-making. She is delighted that he has been reappointed for a further five-year term.
