I’m tracking the online retailer’s deals live to find the best savings on big-name brands (The Independent)

Prime Day 2026 may not officially begin until 23 June, but Amazon has already kicked off the savings. Early Prime Day deals are now landing across the site, with discounts on everything from coffee machines and electric toothbrushes to premium hair care, air fryers, cooling fans and Apple Airtags.

Over the years, Prime Day has cemented itself as one of the biggest shopping events in the retail calendar, often rivalled only by Black Friday when it comes to the scale of the discounts on offer. It’s also the time many of those long-saved wishlist items – whether that’s a new phone, TV or epilator– suddenly become much more affordable.

The best part? You don’t necessarily have to wait for the sale’s official launch to bag a bargain. Amazon is already rolling out fresh offers daily and, in my four years covering the event, I’ve noticed some of the strongest discounts can arrive before Prime Day proper even begins.

Between now and 23 June, I’ll be tracking the best savings, highlighting the deals worth paying attention to and updating this page with the latest offers right as they go live.

When is Amazon Prime Day 2026?

Amazon has confirmed that Prime Day 2026 will take place next week from 23 to 26 June, beginning at 12:01 am on Tuesday, 23rd. That makes this year’s event one of the earliest Prime Day sales I’ve seen.

While Amazon is yet to reveal the full line-up of offers, it has teased deals on “top brands, trending products, and items exclusive to Amazon”. Based on previous years, I’m expecting strong savings on everything from Ghd straighteners and Apple headphones to Oura rings and robot vacuums.

The best Amazon deals you can shop right now

Apple AirPods 4 wireless earbuds: Was £199, now £79.80, Amazon.co.uk

(Amazon)

Dubbed “excellent” by tech expert David Phelan in his review, the AirPods 4 have a “neat design, tiny case, good battery life and excellent sound.” They’re currently reduced by a third in the lead-up to Prime Day.

Oral-B iO3 electric toothbrush: Was £175, now £59.99, Amazon.co.uk

Oral-B’s iO3 electric toothbrush was the best dentist recommended model in my guide to the best electric toothbrushes. Not only did the dentist I spoke to – Dr Eduardo Felici – remark that it “strikes a good balance between affordability and functionality,” but I found “it leans on all your senses to ensure a thorough clean.” And now it’s reduced by more than 60 per cent, which is the best pre-Prime Day discount I’ve seen so far.

Ninja Crispi pro XL glass air fryer: Was £249.99, now £224.99, Amazon.co.uk

(Ninja)

Reduced by more than £20 (but I’m hoping this will increase as the sale officially kicks off next week), Ninja’s bestselling Crispi pro air fryer is a top pick for modest kitchens, according to appliance expert Rachael Penn. You can “prep, cook, serve, store and reheat all from the same bowl”. In her review, she praised the countertop cooking device and described how “it’s packed full of features, it’s simple to operate, it’s easy to clean, it’s easy to store and even if you have a small kitchen, it won’t take up too much counter space”.

VonHaus air circulator fan: Was £44.99, now £42.99, Amazon.co.uk

(VonHaus)

Earning a spot in home appliance expert Joanne Lewsley’s guide to the best fans, VonHaus’s air circulator fan was praised for its versatile design, which Joanne penned as “compact enough for a desk or bedside table, yet powerful enough to sit on the floor and circulate air throughout a room”. Reduced by a small margin right now, I’ve high hopes of this fan dropping its price lower as the sale kicks off next week.

Sony PlayStation 5 DualSense wireless controller, midnight black: Was £64.99, now £59.92, Amazon.co.uk

(Amazon)

Reduced by a modest eight per cent ahead of the Prime Day sale (I’m expecting the price to drop further as the event nears), now’s a great time to upgrade your gaming set-up with a PS5 controller. In her PlayStation 5 review, gaming fanatic Jennifer Allen praised how the DualSense controller “really makes the [gaming] experience special,” and described how “the vibration of haptic feedback feels great while adaptive triggers give you more control as you squeeze your way to victory.”

ghd chronos max hair straightener: Was £299, now £219, Amazon.co.uk

(Ghd)

Launched at the start of 2025, the Ghd chronos max straighteners impressed global shopping editor Eva Waite-Taylor. In her review, she wrote that “the results were impressive – my hair looked and felt smooth and glossy.” This is a chunky 27 per cent discount, but I’ve seen it cheaper during the sale itself through the years, so I’ll let you know if the price drops further

Shark anti hair wrap plus upright corded pet vacuum: Was £299.99, now £199, Amazon.co.uk

(Shark)

One of our best Shark vacuum cleaners is on sale on Amazon. This bagless model performed well in home appliance reviewer Rachael Penn’s tests, lifting “embedded pet hair and ground-in dirt from carpets like a powerhouse”. Plus, you get the best of both worlds, as it can turn into a portable vacuum in “just one click”. Plus, it’s currently discounted by more than 30 per cent.

Eufy E25 omni robot vacuum cleaner with mop: Was £849, now £569, Amazon.co.uk

(Amazon)

If you’re looking for a top-rated robot vacuum cleaner, this eufy model has a hefty £300 off at Amazon ahead of the Prime Day sale. The powerful suction handles dust and pet hair with ease, while the hydrojet deep cleaning system self-cleans the mop to prevent streaks. Speaking on the E28 model, which features the same vacuum unit (the spot cleaner differs), tech critic Alastair Jennings noted in his robot vacuum cleaner review: “It successfully lifts a good selection of dirt, rice and other muck from the carpet.”

(Amazon)

The latest addition to Garmin’s venu range is on sale on Amazon. This model brings new updates such as fitness age, a readiness score and “a sleeker design”, according to journalist Sarah Finley in her roundup of the best running watches. “I tested the watch across multiple runs, from half-marathon training right through to race day, and loved its precise tracking, in-depth stats and helpful alerts as I hit new milestones,” said Sarah.

Ninja creami deluxe: Was £249.99, now £199.99, Amazon.co.uk

(Ninja)

You can currently get the Ninja creami deluxe with £50 off at Amazon. In her review of the best ice cream makers, appliance expert Rachael Penn described the device as quick, compact and easy to clean. “The machine took just two minutes to create a perfectly creamy and delicious soft scoop,” she wrote.

(Philips)

Hair removal season is upon us again. For anyone who shaves, that means the ongoing struggle of razor bumps and ingrown hairs has returned. Unless, that is, you consider upgrading to an IPL machine, such as the Philips lumea 9900. Reduced by more than £150, it was dubbed the best IPL machine overall by beauty editor Lucy Partington, who described the device as “sleek, comfortable to hold and easy to manoeuvre around different areas of the body.”

Amazon Prime Day 2026 – live deals and offers

Listen up! Amazon Prime Day Apple AirPods deals have launched

Apple’s newest AirPod (launched in 2024) is reduced in its active noise cancellation variety, with more than a quarter off. If you’re not fussed about noise cancellation – good news – the earphones are discounted in their regular makeup, too, with almost £40 off (was £119, now £79.80, Amazon.co.uk).

Apple AirPods 4 with active noise cancellation: Was £169, now £125.40, Amazon.co.uk

(David Phelan)

In his Apple AirPods 4 review tech expert David Phelan’s key takeaway was that the “audio quality is strong,” which is exactly what you want from a pair of earphones.

He also wowed at the ability to “answer or get rid of a phone call when Siri announces one in your ears just by nodding or shaking your head.” Overall, David concluded that the AirPods 4 “are excellent and the price is great,” so I’ve no doubt he’d be thrilled at this extra £40+ discount.

Amazon Prime Day deals on Lego sets kick off with more than £40 off

Lego has joined the early deals bonanza with discounts on its all-new smart bricks collection, which launched earlier in 2026.

Lego Star Wars Smart Play throne room duel and A-wing building set: Was £139.99, now £99.99, Amazon.co.uk

(The Independent )

Featuring a sensor-filled chip that can detect everything from motion to positioning, this Star Wars building set even uses sound effects to make the action more immersive.

“I had a blast duelling with a Lego lightsaber, and the sound effects really brought it to life in a way I’ve not seen before,” he wrote.

Ahead of Prime Day, the set is now reduced by 29 per cent.

Good morning

Hello! As IndyBest’s senior shopping writer I’ll be on-hand today to keep track of the best early Amazon Prime Day deals as they drop.

I’ve covered the sale for four years, so I know which brands typically do (and don’t) get discounted, and will be keeping my eyes peeled for the brands everyone wants to see on sale, such as Dyson and Apple.

Right now, the biggest reductions are on Amazon brands, with the Blink Outdoor 4 camera and video doorbell reduced by a whopping 79 per cent (was £119.98, now £24.99, Amazon.co.uk), but I’m hoping to see the savings amping up more broadly as we get closer to the main event.

What deals can we expect in the Amazon Prime Day sale for 2026?

Amazon is keeping the majority of its Prime Day deals under wraps for now, but the early offers currently popping up provide a good indication of what shoppers can expect when the sale officially begins.

For instance, discounts have already started appearing on big-name brands including Sage, Ninja, Shark and Dyson.

If previous years are anything to go by, the sale will stretch across almost every category imaginable. In past Prime Day events, I’ve seen everything from Neom luxury candles and the coveted Dyson airwrap to KitchenAid stand mixers, Philips grooming gadgets, Under Armour activewear and Garmin smartwatches discounted. Amazon’s own devices are also typically among the biggest winners, with Kindle e-readers, Ring doorbells, Fire TV sticks and Echo smart speakers regularly dropping to some of their lowest prices of the year.

Whether you’re looking to kit out your home, replace a moisturiser that’s on its last legs or upgrade your ageing tech, Prime Day is often one of the best opportunities (outside of Black Friday) to bag a real bargain.

What is Amazon Prime Day?

Amazon Prime Day is Amazon’s members-only shopping event, offering limited-time discounts across thousands of products and some of the biggest brands in retail. The retailer typically hosts two major sales each year: its flagship summer Prime Day event and the autumn Prime Big Deal Days sale, which often serves as the unofficial starting gun for festive shopping. Before Black Friday kicks off, that is.

The discounts span almost every category imaginable, from Samsung TVs, Ninja air fryers and Shark vacuums to Lego sets, Oral-B toothbrushes and big beauty names such as Maybelline and Elemis. It’s also one of the best times to save on Amazon’s own devices, with products such as Fire tablets, Ring video doorbells, Kindle e-readers and Blink security cameras regularly seeing some of their lowest prices of the year.
