The Met Office has issued an amber weather warning for extreme heat ahead of a heatwave expected in the UK over the weekend.
The weather warning is in place from 1pm on Monday until the end of Tuesday as the forecaster warns developing hot spell is expected to peak on Monday and Tuesday and lead to widespread impacts on people and infrastructure.
