The Diamond League season picks up pace with a fascinating meeting in Oslo featuring the senior debut of Australian sprint sensation Gout Gout.
The 18-year-old has been tipped as having the potential to challenge Usain Bolt’s world records in the future and now gets a chance to mix it with some of the world’s best in the men’s 200m.
Among those he will face at the Bislett Games will be Letsile Tebogo, Olympic champion over the distance at Paris 2024.
Julien Alfred headlines the women’s sprinting field while home hopes will be carried by Karsten Warholm, again battling great rival Alison dos Santos in the 400m hurdles.
