- Addressed to the late British actor Terence Stamp and dated October 17, 1991, the note thanks him for lunch and a conversation during which Diana seemingly opened up about her personal struggles.
- In the intimate correspondence, which is expected to fetch between £1,500 and £2,000, Diana wrote: “Not many people would take the time and trouble to delve into such a complex situation… Three cheers for Prozac, not the American variety I hasten to add! Lots of love Terence and a huge thank you, from Diana x”
- The letter is part of an auction featuring an array of items from the late Academy Award-nominated actor’s estate.
- Other notable items in the auction, running from June 15 to June 25 at Bonhams, include scripts from Superman, costumes from Wall Street and Last Night In Soho, and Polaroids detailing the make-up for his Bafta-nominated role as Bernadette Bassenger in Priscilla, Queen Of The Desert.
